Labelling belongings

DD had first trial session at nursery yesterday so I went crazy with a marker pen for all her belongings but does anyone have any recommendations for labelling DDs bottles? I used a 'Sharpie' pen but this seems to be wearing off after being washed once. If I use stickers will these just end up coming off?

Someone I know stuck plaster strip on them with the name written on in biro. Goes through the dishwasher unscathed.

I label my freezer containers with masking tape and sharpie and have noticed that the labels do not come off in the washer. Might be worth trying them on the bottles. Otherwise, I just redid the sharpie every time washed them.

Thanks ladies. Think the idea of plasters/making tape might present a bit of a hygene issue? We don't have a dishwasher so the bottles get a good hot soaking in the washing up bowl.

I'll investigate the stickers though.

Have ordered stickers, but there was nowhere to enter promotional code - have emailed them though. I want my £1.70 discount!

lazyhen - the stickers are great - they withstand hot soakings and hot dishwashers - they are indestructible!
