TO MOVE DS TO TODDLER ROOM

Ds just turned 2 (13th January) and his creche (were from Ireland) just talked with me and said a place has opened up in the toddler room ( it goes baby room, wobbler, toddler, preschool) and they all thought my son was the best option out of his wobbler group.
My problem is it takes so long for him to get used to new settings, first the baby room then the wobbler room the following year I’m not to keen on him going to a new room and with all new kids. I think I’d rather him stay in his own group and they could all move up together. Looking for advice on should I move him up as he might be bored and ready for new challenges or leave him be until they all move in 5 months or so,
On top of it I’m going into a stressful awkward timetable semester of college for the next 3 months so not ideal timing as I’d be worried about him
Thanks! Grin

If hes talking then move him up. My DS was a nightmare at settling in nursery as a baby and I was so sure that he was going to be the same when they moved him to the toddler room. But he was actually not even phased at all. He was talking in sentences from before 2 so loved all the chatting in the bigger room and the routine was a great thing for him.

Well he has a lot of words but not really putting them into sentences only things like “big truck” or “please ok” he’s been in the wobbler room for 6 months now and still clings to me in the mornings until a crèche worker comes over to pick him up then he runs over so I don’t know. Thank you for your reply!
