DH's job is relocating and I'm currently looking for somewhere to live and sort out schools and nurseries.

I've heard good things about this one but just from someone who'd heard about it IYKWIM, rather than personal experience. So I'm hoping some of you have children there and can give me an insight.
My main priorities are;
1)Nurturing environment
2)Low staff turnover (DS1 is very shy/nervous)
3)safety as DC2 is a wild one likely to run off if given a chance

Also, if you live in the area and know/use a nursery you'd recommend over this one then please let me know. Thanks

Hi Cushioncover

I live in Cheadle Hulme and I looked round Kids Allowed earlier this year (DD is 18 months and I was moving from another area of Stockport). I saw all of them in the area - BusyBees (or something similar); NuNu's; Greenbank and Kids Allowed plus a couple of others further afield.
Kids Allowed hadn't been open long and it was a bit all singing all dancing. The staff looked OK, a little on the young side and I prefer a few more mature people, ie people who look as if they have kids themselves. However the structure looked fantastic, they were very 'up' on Birth to Three Matters etc. The facilities were top notch and the food looked great.
I actually went for Greenbank as it's closer to home and slightly cheaper. However my sister uses the Kids Allowed for her DS3 who has DS and she is abslutely full of praise for them. So in answer to your original question - Nuturing environment I would question slightly because of the young staff; low staff turnover - should be OK; safety - absolutely no problems whatsoever, my sister is ultra safety concious due to DN's special needs.
HTH x

hi again cushioncover, are you clearer about where you want to move to?
I know I said a lot about Poynton before but the nursery we used for dd (she's just left to go to school) was fab. It's called Brook House Farm and it's small and cosy, the staff are great, they really seem to care about the kids! I went round a few nurseries and this one had the best feel to it iyswim. This was before Kids Allowed was open though so I can't comment on that!
