Nursery move - WWYD

DD is almost 3, and currently attends nursery 4 days per week. DS is 6 months, and is due to start at the same nursery 4 days a week in September.

We've just had an offer accepted on a new house (less than a mile from our current house) and have found a lovely nursery near the new house. The have space for both children from September, but only 2 days per week.

We're thinking to start DS at the new nursery on the two days (we should just about be able to juggle the other days until there's space for him, will be stressful but doable), but not sure about DD.

On one hand, I feel it makes sense to leave her where she is (where she's settled) and then move her when they have the full 4 days available, so as not to cause confusion by going to two different places each week. This would also be easier from an admin perspective (sorting out fees, childcare vouchers, etc). On the other hand, she seems excited about the new nursery (keeps asking when she can go back to the "really nice pre-school house") and is a fairly adaptable child, so it might not be too bad, might even be fun for her to do different things? It also has the advantage that on those two days we wouldn't have to drop off at two separate nurseries.

What would you do?

I would switch both of them till the 4 days become available!

I think I would also switch if she was keen to go.
