Help! Where to move

Hi everyone. This is my 1st thread. I'm selling my place in October and don't know where to buy for my family. I have three young children under 5 so am looking for somewhere where we can settle...Low crime area, desired schools etc. I've been looking at places like Witham, Braintree, Benfleet and Billericay. My maximum budget though £280k - 300k so obviously this eliminates certain areas straight away. Any suggestions would be very helpful. TIA
