Condensing tumble dryer too hot

My brand new Miele TDA140c condensing tumble dryer is blowing out insanely hot air and overheating my utility room. Does anyone else have this problem? I thought only vented tumble dryers expelled hot air.

Where is the hot air coming from? The back? All machines produce some heat but it shouldn't be excessive. Is it dry heat or moist, ie have you got condensation forming on the walls/windows?

Vented tumble dryers expel the hot moist air through a hose to the outside of the building. They don't blow it into the room (which is what the old dryers did).

We have a new one and it's as you describe, if I open it soon after finishing I can't touch the fabric and the room gets very warm. However it dries stuff in about half an hour. Our old one used to take all day to do say a duvet cover and never really got warm like this

It's blowing dry air out of a horizontal vent along the bottom of the front panel, but at 49 degrees centigrade! It's drying the clothes perfectly but turning the utility room into a furnace. I think it might be faulty.
