Hi all. Hoping to get some useful information from here after some good advice from various books.
I'm already a stepdad to a 5yr old girl and now I have a new daughter I helped make!

Feeling outnumbered at home!

First of all, congratulations on the arrival of your baby daughter - I hope you are enjoying lots of lovely, newborn cuddles.

Secondly, don't worry about being outnumbered - I'm in the same position - except that I am the line female in a houseful of men - I have three dses. And it has been fine. As long as you are prepared to be interested in the things that interest them, you will get along fine with them - for example, I know far, far more about trains than I ever wanted to - ditto sports and Lego - but I have enjoyed expanding my horizons. And it does go the other way too - the boys share some of my interests too.

Thanks SDT! I've got my step daughter interested in cricket, the Peak District, Star Wars and Dr Who in exchange for having the arse bored off me about My Little Pony so fair's fair!
