Hello members. I'm turning to you to tap into your wealth of information. My son and daughter-in-law are desperate to move from their present home now they have a long awaited son. They want him to have a nice garden and a chance to meet other children. Both are snowed under with work, commuting and parenting, so I've offered to do some research of commuting towns for them. I'm from Yorkshire so have absolutely no clue where to start. They have a budget of £500,000 max. Would like a 3 bedroom so I can stay over, decent garden. and family friendly area. My daughter needs to get to Moorgate station in the city for her work. My son will look for another job once they know where they are locating. Any help given will be very welcome

Hi
I really need help , we are relocating from Houston Texas to London . I have four children , 12,10,8&7
We are looking at Guildford , Esher area . Can anyone recommend nice areas to live close to the train station for Waterloo . Outstanding schools .
Also if the school say oversubscribed does it mean they are closed to applications ?
Thanks

Single mum to share an apartment in Brighton.
I am a Montessori teacher for preschoolers, french teacher and positive parenting consultant and I will relocate to Brighton with my daughter (7 years old) on 24th of April. I am looking for another single mother to share an apartment from may 2017 and help each other. We love music, theater, reading, outdoor activities, we are easygoing, with respect towards others. For any further discussion my e-mail is [email protected]

St Albans is a lovely location and good schools.

Mum2FourTexas I would look at both Surbiton and Guildford. They are both have very fast transport links into Waterloo station.

Surbiton has trains that take as little as 11 minutes into Waterloo. Surbiton has a mix of both private and government schools with outstanding results. Its by the river Thames.
