Abortion

I found out my girlfriend was pregnant 4 weeks ago, she decided to carry out a medical abortion against my wishes but I stood by her decision. The medical abortion was carried out on the 2nd of November. She was only 2-3 weeks pregnant at the time so the doctor decided she only needed to take the Misoprostol and not the mifepristone. The day she took it she seems fine the morning after she rang in panic wondering why the bleeding hadn't started yet, I told her just to wait and see. That evening the cramps hit her like a ton of bricks, I've never in my life seen someone in that kinda pain before (never been to a childbirth) she was rolling back and forth on the bed grabbing my hand as she tried her best to deal with the pain. At one point she told me could feel something coming out, ran to the toilet n felt a clot come out. at this point I'm thinking that was the embryo but we went to the doctors and they said 2-3 weeks wasn't enough time for anything solid to be formed so I thought okay. 3 days have past and she's still in pain from the cramping and the bleeding has remained heavy (fills out 3 a day thick sanitary towels) I read online on different sites that bleeding and cramping is suppose to last 9-14 days. 7 days have now past and she had another full blown most painful cramping session, not knowing how to help her as usual I just held her hand and placed a water bottle on her stomach. At one point she completely rolled off the bed and was rolling around on the floor, after this point the blood on the pad started to get more of a darker red, not sure if that means anything. We are now on the 10th day and she's still bleeding and cramping. The bleeding is roughly the same amount but the cramping is allot more bearable. With all this happening to her she still tells me that she feels she might still be pregnant due to tiredness, weird food cravings and being overly sensitive about everything. She feels that this bleeding and cramping had come about due to the contraceptive implant she had done before confirming she was 100% pregnant. She feels that the Misoprostol and the implant have reacted together and somehow caused her to be bleeding this much and for this long, if that's possible I don't know? I on the other hand think the Misoprostol caused the bleeding and cramps and I feel like it's working but obviously I could never dismiss to way she feels because it's not happening to me. Anyways I was wondering if theirs a chance the abortion didn't work even though she's been getting constant cramps and bleeding for the last 10 days.

PS: This isn't her first abortion and this one here she said is allot more painful and more lengthy. Reason why I haven't taken her to the doctor about the bleeding is because it takes about 3-4 hours for her to fill a pad and the BPAS website says that no cause for concern. (Sorry for the amount of writing, I didn't mean it, it just happened)
