Oh God, not again.
Who was it the other week who heard a song from the eighties that was a bit electronic and we were all trying to work out what it was (it may have had 'night' in the title)?

Yes found that, but doesn't seem to fit description. Doesn't help that youtube streaming here is awwwwwwffffffuuuuuullll.

(am at PILs in middle of nowhere, blackhole reception)

'Oh God not again' because I am now going to go on a google quest when there are other things I should be up to.

Fabby Fabio. Come on now, yy dp is crappy, but I have quizzed him on clues and whether it was just a poor segway from tinpot dj and no. It exists and he has called my googling into question. I am affronted.

Bloodhound Gang - Mope

No help at all here (sorry) but had a fascinating few minutes earlier tonight having read a random snatch of song lyric in a novel, thought 'hmm, I am sure I remember that from somewhere else', got googling and had a HUGE nostalgia blast about singing in primary school - oh, and my search threw up a link to MN

10/10 for effort Fabby one, but no fishy treat for you this time. Apparently not Mope.

Solid I am often slightly taken aback by random googling lonked to mumsnet. I think it may be a clever computer thing or a example of the randomness diversity of mn

Fab, fear not, dp has hit dead end too so deadline is extended to his (often ineptitude) ability to find.

I think he made it up, I always find my man google.

I've Wiki'd the song, could it be a dance mix version of it? I've not read the whole blurb so the elusive track may be in there.

Not Craig. Shame.

Dp says he heard whole song in weirdy, kitsch, shop in Oxford.

I am now casting doubts on whether said version has been released or is some student remix that shop assistant with the lovely blue and red dreds just liked.

And by 'you' I mean 'me' obviously.
Pah.
I'm meant to be doing theeengs. I haven't time to be searching the interweb for evidence of a song that may not exist. Who the f does he think I am, Fox Farking Mulder?

Report
S1ur · 06/08/2008 00:04

Well quite.

He is now speaking of phoning store.

I think they will laugh and put him in strange pigeon hole of Frankie obsessive.

The shop was all Japanese plastic fantastic stuff.
