Record Shelving

Dp and I have thousands of records.
Problem is modern shelving can't handle them as they weigh a hell of a lot.
Bespoke shelving isn't an option as we were quoted ridiculous sums.
Can anyone suggest any shelves?

I'm sure I remember reading on here that Ikea's Expedit units fit albums perfectly. Not sure if they're any use to you?

We've got ours on ikea gorm shelves, v cheap.

My brother has a record collection numbering many many thousands (and growing) and yes the cube shelving from Ikea are perfect. The units come in different sizes but the cube shelves are exactly the right size for albums, they also have no problem with the weight.
