I had one breech too and used to kick right where my ribs are, he used to extend one leg and pack a wallop. It always, always set off his brother who "bounced" on my pelvis and preferred to use his elbows on me. It didn't help that they MoMo twins. It's like they pushed each other. Sometimes it was very painful. They were born at 37+3 by vag, one was still breech.
The pain is shocking, I sympathise. My MCDA twins felt like they were all bone. It really hurt, especially when I was lying down and they would 'fall' to one side, and really poke and hurt and I'm sure their skulls and limbs were made of pure graphite!
You are nearly there, nearly there! I'm sorry that your previous post-partum experience was terrible. I imagine that it is rare and your next one will be wonderful - thats what I'm hoping for you!
Currently 35+2 with dcda twins. Dt1 is crushing and wriggling against my pubic bone as well as kicking like a mule, and feels like she is trying to claw her way out or that she might drop out ( I know she won't actually do this)
Dt2 is breech under my ribs and is trying to escape in the opposite direction, and is VERY active.
The resulting pain is incredible I am actually crying out in pain.
They calm down for a few minutes and then she is kicking off again, which seems start him going crazy. ATM you can clearly see where his head, bum and legs are moving he is pushing up so hard.
I'm due an elcs due to previous health problems in my last pregnancy and I'm scared that if they go on like this I might go into labour...dt1 is certainly getting into position.
