Curry stains on white shirts

I need some advice or tips to get curry stains out of my husband's white top.
I normally manage to get them out of his other clothes for some reason he always manages to drop at least one spoon full down him.
But he has a few white tops he likes wearing along with his vest tops normally he takes it off whilst eating. But last night he didnt and now there is a big food stain on It.
I have tried most things like vanish and ect.
But nothing so far.
It's a home made curry with Haldi and chilli powder. If that helps.
Any advice ???

I got curry out of a white top with cold water, bio detergent and a day in the sunshine on the line.
