How long did it take you to get a negative test after a miscarriage? It's only been two weeks since my ERPC but getting annoyed that tests are still very positive (although they are lighter than they were so hcg is going down).

Took more than 6 weeks for me after medical management. No reason found on scans.

I never got a clear negative test before my period arrived just under 5 weeks post surgery. My hcg was tested a few days before and came back as 9. I was still getting faint positives. Hope that helps. Speak with epu if you are worried, they had planned to scan me if things hadn't returned back to normal the following week to check if anything had been missed.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like I could still have a bit of a wait yet! I'm visiting my parents for a week tomorrow and not taking any tests do hopefully when I get back they'll at least be faint xx

For me it’s been now three weeks and still got a faint positive few days ago. Will test again next week and hope for a negative then.

I had a MMC on 26th Jan and have just got a positive so just over 2 weeks for me. We are ttc again but have decided not to bother waiting for the next cycle, hopefully it’ll happen but if not we will keep trying.

I’m sorry for your loss, we lost ours at the same stage but didn’t find out until 12 week scan

I got mine about 2.5 weeks after MVA, went from strongly positive to faint line quite quickly, but the faint line hung on for a long time! xxx

Sorry for all your losses xxx Flowers

@Char2020 I'm not planning on waiting for my first period either. I'm visiting my parents next week though so it's probably good I haven't had a negative yet. Hopefully I wont ovulate until I get back. Sorry for your loss and good luck trying Flowers
