Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

One week of brown / dark red bleeding...

Hello everyone!

New to here and wanted to say reading posts on here has given me much comfort during my first MC this year which coincided with my dad passing away, so it was a sad time and I had an ERPC for that MC. Had spotted and scan at 8 weeks measured behind at 6 weeks and low heartbeat so week later the MC was confirmed during rescan.

I'm sorry for everyone else's difficult times and so glad we can be there for each other on here!

I'm now pregnant again but started spotting again just before 7 weeks last week Sunday. Went to EPU Monday who did a vaginal US. Saw foetal pole, gestational and yolk sac, HB measured 113 bpm and the lady who scanned me said the dates were at 6 weeks 4 day so somewhat behind. Asked me to come back in 2 weeks (one week from now) and see how it goes.

Am not holding up much hope as spotting from brown has increased over the week to a dark red sometimes with very small clots (kind of like first day of AF). No pain just occasional lower back pain. Not filling any pads but wearing them all the time as overly anxious and super on edge. Feeling very sad and very down that this is happening again.

Has anyone else has a similar experience?

Already reading up on options as wanting to avoid ERPC again and maybe try medical management.

I'm so sorry for your previous loss and this current stress.

I had a missed miscarriage with very little signs, so no experience of what you're currently going through. What i would say tho, is that I have read in other posts people bleeding or having unusual discharge etc and everything ended up fine. I really hope that is the case for you. I guess doing what you're doing, monitor your spotting and perhaps go to the EPU if things change.

Really hope things work out for you x

Thank you @rmaun1986 that's really nice of you to respond.

I'm sorry to hear about your MMC.

The waiting game is just awful between scans but not feeling much hope with the continuous spotting / more so as well when I wipe.

Thanks again for your reply! Wishing you all the best xx

No problem @LASandOtto. Your situation is really scary one and I imagine there is little many of us can say to make you feel better. The waiting must be horrendous and I'm so sorry to hear the spotting hasn't eased off. I truly am praying for you and hope come next week you will be smiling with better news.

x
