Three missed miscarriages

Hi all so as the title says I've had three missed miscarriages one at ten weeks one at twelve weeks and another at ten. I now have an appointment at sub fertility as I'm my age is a factor at 37 plus I'm falling pregnant but not staying pregnant which is next month! So magically I seem to have fallen again with no period between my February misscarriage and falling again no idea of how far along but feeling pretty sick so assume over 6 weeks. What do I do now wait it out my GP's tried to help last time with appointments at epu but I was refused so I'm not holding out hope again. How likely is success after three of these later type misscarriages anyone have experience of this? I do have two healthy children which both took a long time to conceive so I'm shocked to have fallen so quickly.
Thanks for reading my ramble

No personal experience but I'm wishing you luck. Can you afford any private appointments?

Actually, I read somewhere that even after 3 miscarriages your chances of success the next time are still higher than another miscarriage.

Everything crossed that this is the one. I'd get a scan at 6 weeks to check for a heartbeat. The EPU might do one for you with your host but if not You can go for a private one, it cost us about £80 and was absolutely worth it.

Hi, i had two dc’s no problem and then had two missed mc’s at 12 and 16 weeks. After blood tests ive found out that i have the Factor V leiden gene mutation which can caused blood clots and some trials point towards Factor V increasing the risk of late miscarriage.
I am still waiting for a post mortem results on the 16 week mc and the factor v may have nothing to do with it, or may have caused it, who knows.
I have been told i’ll have blood thinning injections from 12 weeks if i fall pg again. Ask to be tested for blood clotting disorders, just in case x
Good luck xxx

I am so so sorry you've been through this.

I had a couple of very early MC and then a MMC at 10 weeks.

I tested very weekly positive for Antiphospholipid syndrome which is another clotting issue. In my next pregnancy I took low dose Aspirin from BFP and then heparin from 5 weeks and that turned into a successful pregnancy.

Clotting issues seem to be fairly common and lots of women having IVF are put on low dose Aspirin by their clinics. This is something I would consider in your shoes.

I would go to your GP tomorrow if you possibly can and tell them the situation and see if they can run any tests for you.

Another avenue is to call your local maternity unit and explain the situation and see if you can get to see an obstetricss consultant there in the next couple of weeks. I did this and was surprised that they were willing to book me to see the consultant without any sort of referral (I just explained my MC history and that my GP had run a clotting test that had come back borderline).
