Depression after mmc

I went to the doctors today because I cannot cope day to day and I cannot sleep. He has also prescribed me tablets to help deal with my depression. Just wondering if anybody has taken citalopram 10mg tablets or zopiclone 3.75mg tablets, just want to know if these will help me or not, I am really struggling and see no other options to help get rid of my pain, I appreciate any comments x
