Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Is this a miscarriage?

I am 10 weeks pregnant, about 2 hours ago I had a BM (sorry tmi) that took a bit of straining.
About 5 mins later I felt what I thought was cervical mucous but it was bright red blood. On the toilet the blood was dripping out and there were some small soft clots. Second time on the toilet I passed a large clot into the toilet (I didn't) and have had steady bleeding ever since.

I have no pain at all but did notice my morning sickness getting slowly better over the last few days and today my food aversions or sicky feeling is nowhere near as bad as it has been.

If this is a miscarriage I would have thought there would be some warning or spotting before a gush of blood? Plus having no pain doesn't seem right considering I'm 10 weeks along Sad

Ring your mw now op.
I mc at 8 weeks (6.week foetus) and had contractions and passed everything intact. Everyone is different I know but at 10 weeks you would have much to pass. Never a call wasted to mw.

April I'm on holiday in another country in the middle of nowhere Sad ...The nearest hospital is 50 miles away. We're going home in 2 days but I'm terrified of what's to come before then.

Still bleeding, like a period with some small clots. No real pain but twinges here and there

Please don't worry. I had very similar in both my pregnancies and it was fine. If you have no pain it's a good sign.

Just going to update in case anybody goes through something similar...

I did indeed have a miscarriage at 10 weeks with zero pain and less than 1 day of bleeding. I passed everything within 10 mins of the bleeding starting. Had no prior warning whatsoever.
I am doing fine but just so shocked that it could start and finish so fast.

I am however thankful that I had no pain at all x

So sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks and had some contraction pains in hospital (when I assume it all came out) but no pain at all when the bleeding began.
