Dental treatment after missed miscarriage?

I found out yesterday at my 12 week scan that the sac is empty, so had a MMC. Am going back to the EPU next week to decide how to proceed. I have a dentist appointment today and don't know whether I can use my free NHS treatment card. Really don't want to have to discuss it at the Dentist's, as all to recent, so does anyone know what the rules are?

Sorry for your loss. Just use it, no one will know, and technically you are still pregnant.

I may be too late but you can use it for the same amount of time (there's an expiry on it) even if you miscarry. I happened to read it on the back of mine when I had a miscarriage. Sorry for your loss x

I went to the dentist with mine. They asked me when I had given birth. Explaining to the receptionist was quite a horrible experience. Then they rang the NHS helpline and they said it is not valid for dental treatment only prescriptions after a miscarriage.

Some non-nhs websites are saying that policy changed in late 2016 and you would be entitled to free treatment, but NHS website saying not entitled, but that could just be because they are a little behind in updating the website. I would call helpline.
So sorry for your loss.
