Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

I think I'm having a miscarriage

Please someone give me some advice, I think I'm going crazy here!!
So yesterday I started bleeding, its continued today and its turning into almost a period like bleed. I went to a and e when it started and they sent me for a scan. Turns out I have a pregnancy sac but no baby and a cyst which they said was harmless. They've asked me to come back for another scan in 2 weeks as the sac measures less than what it would if I was as far gone as I thought so they think I'm earlier along than I thought. I have a headache, tummy pain and back pain on my ribs. I feel just generally rough and I know even to me, this sounds like a miscarriage. Is there any way that this might be ok? Could the bleeding be normal? Please someone, if you've been through this or have any ideas, I'd really appreciate them. Thank you

I couldn't read and run. I don't have any experience of this but I know a number of people who have bled early on without trouble, I think it's called an implantation bleed. Not that I'm saying that's what it is but if the hospital aren't concerned after the scan I think you have to try to relax and trust them.

Fingers crossed someone comes on who can help you more than I can. Flowers

Really sorry to hear what you're going through.
Well things could still be ok, if as they said you weren't actually so far along. That is why they will rescan you, rather than saying it is definitely a miscarriage. How far along are you?
The symptoms obviously do sound bad and you might be miscarrying. Do you have some support around you? For what it is worth I have had pain and bleeding when miscarrying, but also when pg with my dcs.

Thank you for your replies. I would be about 7 weeks. I'm just worried because at 7 weeks, surely they could see the baby? I'm just on my own with my son and I'm in a bit of discomfort and I just needed some reassurance I suppose. I think I'm as prepared as I can be either way. Rang midwife and early pregnancy ward and no answer so just felt a bit overwhelmed with it all. Thank you again
