Hiya everyone
I'm very early on in my pregnancy I have in the past gone through multiple miscarriages then I had my daughter who's now 3 I've had no pregnancies since this and I have really struggled to get pregnant again however i recently found out I'm now pregnant and panicked abit worrying about everything I went through previously I have been having my hcg levels checked every 48 hours
I can't remember exact numbers but
1st test -149
2nd test 48hours later- 330ish
3rd test 48hours later- 770
I was then sent for a scan which was 72 hours after the 3rd test they couldn't see anything on the scan to confirm everything was as it should be there was a 5mm fluid filled sac they then retested my HCG levels
4th test 72+hours later- 1450ish
I'm now worried that this rise isn't normal as its only just doubled within the 72 hours I'm not being tested again they're waiting and scanning me next week (wed) anyone else seen this before and been fine am I just being silly worrying like this I'm just keeping everything crossed that there's something more there next week
Thanks
X

Found this HCG level doubles: In 85% of normal pregnancies hCG levels double every 48 to 72 hours. As you get further along into pregnancy and the hCG level gets higher, it may take 96 hours or more for your results to double which suggests that your levels are fine. Obviously with your history you will have a worrying time for a while, but the results don't sound worrying. Did they investigate a cause for your earlier losses? Everything crossed for you. It worked once so it can again Flowers

Hi OP, I'm sorry to hear of your losses. I can only imagine it is very nerve racking for you now to say the least. Fingers crossed for you. I had one mc a few weeks ago and it already worries me about how I go when I hopefully get pregnant again next.

It is hard to say about the HCG levels they look OK to me by I'm not a professional at all but was told by my doctor that each person and pregnancy will rise in a different way.

Wishing you all the best & I hope all goes well.

Thankyou it's awful so so sorry you've been through this too it's so hard but like you after my mc I didn't no how I'd be it's strange when you do you become numb to it when in finally was pregnant with my daughter I don't really remember the first 16 weeks cos I think I just blanked it all out I suppose it was my way of dealing with it
I will find out what's going on in there on Wednesday when I have a scenic sure my nerves will settle when and if I get past these first few weeks
Xx
