3rd period after miscarriage unusual

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks in November and have since had two periods, the first of which was heavier with what I assume were still some clots. The second settled down and seemed normal.

This one however is a lot heavier than I'm used to, and the blood is a lot brighter. It was also around 3 days earlier than expected. We started TTC again this month so at first I thought it may have been implantation bleeding, and got upset again when I realised it wasn't...

Have other people had to wait a while for it to settle?
