Some of you may have read my post from Friday in chat.
Lost my twins at 11 1/2 weeks and come into hospital yesterday for medical management.
Had 4 preseries inserted vaginally yesterday at 12, had quite bad cramping for hours after but no bleeding. Woke up this morning with no symptoms at all. Hospital gave me 2 oral tablets this morning at 8:30 and still nothing is happening.
Has anyone experienced or is experiencing this?.
Worried about the possibility of surgery.

Hi Sally

I had medical management last Tuesday and did have three doses of the oral/sublingual tablets. 4 initially under the tongue, then 3 hours later 2
More under the tongue and then 3 hours later 2 to swallow

They weren't sure everything had passed so was given all 3 doses.

A scan the next morning showed that I had to large heomatomas sitting close to the cervix so they tried to remove them via internal exam. They managed to get quite a lot but said there would be more.

That was last wed. I now have a scan tomorrow morning to check if everything did indeed pass.

They did warn that sometimes medical management doesn't work.. I hope things are moving for you now and you don't need to go for the ERPC

Please keep me posted. Your in my thoughts xx

Melvali thank you for sharing your experience, did you start bleeding at all before your internal exam?.

Yesterday I passed two small lots of brown jelly like discharge and then on a seperate occasion after the toilet while wiping noticed streaks of blood on the tissue but that is it. Just lots of cramping still but in no real pain.

Sorry for tmi!

Never tmi on this thread, I did bleed and passed the baby (which I saw - was amazing, two eyes and arms and legs) before the internal but it the amount of pain didn't tally up with the amount of blood if that makes sense. They weren't sure I passed the sac (the baby wasn't in the sac) so that's why they gave me a scan. That was last Wednesday and I've just had a scan this morning and all is clear. Hopefully can begin to put this behind me now.
