Hi. I'm just going through my 2nd early miscarriage in 5 months, first happened in January. I really am a wreck right now and I'm so worried about what this might mean for my fertility etc. My doctor is refusing to send me for tests and says this has to happen again for them to do anything about it. I'm really at the bottom emotionally at the moment. Any advice or success stories? Would be very much appreciated.

Hi. So sorry to hear this. Hope your ok....sadly they tend to
Not do any tests unless u have had 3....it's because they say 2 can just be bad luck and satistisctally your risk for
Miscarriage next time is not increased. So your chance of successful pregnancy is the same as someone who has never had a miscarriage...
However saying this its a very scary emotional time and I despite me knowing this I did push for tests after no 2 and got some done (all of which were normal)......
Maybe your Gp could be sympathetic and run a few for
Your peace of mind? Did it take you a while to get preg? Or are you over 35? They are reasons that they may do some
Tests...ow just stay hopeful know that your risk isn't increased and look after yourself before you start ttc again.

No, I'm 26 and caught first month trying in December then miscarried in January and this was our 5th cycle trying and it's happened again. It doesn't feel like just bad luck to me to be honest. The doctor said the same to me today, I just feel like something's not right. I hope it is just bad luck.

It's difficult to have two and to not think that there must be something wrong. But statistically most women who have two MC's go on to have a healthy pregnancy. I hope everything goes well with you next time around.

Monkey, have you tried looking at the thread just above yours, it's all about a very similar situation, might be worth taking a look because lots if lovely people giving advice. I am currently in your situation, MC1 in feb and MC 2 in April and every little bit of advice and caring words makes all the difference.
Best of luck

I started this thread as it is two "chemical pregnancies" I've had. I can't seem to get past 5 weeks, which is what is worrying me I think.
