What absolute and compete rubbish. Life sucks at the moment.

Hmm. Well, that's true, actually, but it doesn't help you much at the moment. People want to find a positive in every situation and actually all that helps when you are in the middle of it is " that's really shit and I'm so sorry"

Do you want to talk about it here?

It is true. I suffered recurring miscarriages and years ago I would have totally agreed with you but it is true, but don't underestimate the amount of time that is.

How long has it been, OP? I find that at the time it is all bad moments. Then gradually there are good moments, then good days and eventually more good days than bad.

Let yourself grieve and be honest with people how you are feeling right now x

Im going through MC number 5 and scan showed its twins this time. sad

bakingtins Fri 09-May-14 09:31:58

I'm so sorry joker

Have you had RMC tests? There's a lovely supportive RMC thread on this board if you'd like to join us - it's kept me sane through 3MC last year (had 4 in total)
I think anyone trying to be positive when you are right in the midst of it deserves a slap, however good their intentions.

I've had so many tests both nhs and private and they've all come back textbook prefect.
One doctor said "if I had to move into a uterus I'd pick yours! Looks very cosy"

So so sorry, joker It is such an awful thing to happen, and it does not get any easier with repeats either. You fall into this deep hole, and there seems to be no way out of it sad

And nothing that anyone will say right now will make any difference whatsoever, no matter how well-meaning it is.

But - even though I agree that the whole 'it does get better with time' is the last thing anyone wants to hear when going through an mc, it is true... You will survive this.

But right now, this is not something you need to think about - right now, all you need to focus on is how to navigate through your grief and the darkness and how you can possibly manage to cope with it all over again.

You are not alone in this thanks

Do come and join the RMC support thread you get to a point where you don't know anyone else who has suffered so many losses - it helps not to be alone with it.

Sorry to see your news joker, chocolate, wine , crying and a good friend is maybe what's needed now, may not help but definitely needed x
