Confused... help!

I had a mc 3 weeks ago yesterday.

Blood test 2 days later said hormones had reduced significantly. They asked me to do a pg test early Sep, to see that it came back neg. It was pos.

I returned for another blood test and scan yesterday (nothing visible on scan) and they just phoned to say hormones have risen again, and the staff are confused. I'm now really freaked out that there's something else wrong.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi, I haven't experienced this myself but my friend had a MC, went back a few weeks later for a check up and had pregnancy hormones in her blood, and confirmed she is pregnant.

Was there nothing at all on the scan? The only explanations I can think of either, you still have hormones from your MC (although I dont know why/if they would fall dramatically then rise again) or you are pregnant again and its so early that nothing is visible on the scan yet.

Do you have to go back for another scan/blood test or anything?

I have another blood test booked tomorrow. I'm worried about ectopic mostly, although they couldn't see anything on screen. It was an internal scan... you don't need a full bladder for those, do you? I didn't have one.

yes,you should have an empty bladder for an internal scan.
I'm not sure what could be going on but as Babystone suggested could you be pregnant again?
I had a MC at 6 weeks in June, wasn't scanned till a week after it started but miscarriage was complete and pregnancy hormones at that stage had dropped right down. I was charting my temp so I know I ovulated 14 days after the miscarriage started and I actually concieved that cycle, so it is possible to get pregnant again quite quickly.

How did the blood test go?

also it is really easy to fall pregnant straight after a MC even without having a period as everything is all fresh etc. This is what happened with my sister-in-law. I've had 2 MC's this year, found out i was pregnant, had a MC, had 1 period, pregnant, MC, 1 period now pregnant again. 14 wks 1 days today :)

Hello, the blood test confirmed hormones are going up but because of the scan they think it's implanted somewhere outside of the womb. They couldn't see anything in the tubes, but I'm still worried I may have ruptured one and they can't see it on scan... Got to go back shortly for moxy-whatsit.
