Sorry TMI alert!

I miscarried a few months ago. The baby died at 5 weeks. It was a mmc, I found out at 8 weeks and passed it at 10 weeks. There was never a fetal pole or a heartbeat. The m/c itself was pretty horrendous 3 weeks of bleeding, 3 days of bad cramps and dizziness and heavy bleeding and I passed 4 bits of grey/purple tissue with a membrane that looked quite similar to placenta (def not just clot). Each bit was about 4x2cm.

This time the baby died at 6 weeks there was a fetal pole and a heartbeat initially. So it was further along than last time. I have been bleeding for 3 weeks and last night had cramps and passed the sac- clear with fluid in side and an obvious fetal remnant. However apart from that have only passed clots, none of that grey tissue stuff

Has anyone else had similar? I was shocked how much there was of this tissue last night, and no-one could tell me what it was at EPU. Has anyone not passed stuff like that when the baby died at a similar age? I realise it might still come out...

Can anyone help? What did you actually see during your m/c?
