Had MMC, found out at 7 weeks ish that growth stopped at 5-6 weeks. Opted for medical management, that happened just over 2 weeks ago. Bleeding stopped ater 10 days and scan showed miscarriage complete. Have been told by gynaecologist (saw for something unrelated) that cervix is closed. But then bleeding started again, not heavy but constant for 3 days and hasn't stopped. I am still testing positive but only a v faint line noe so HCG definitely dropping. Is this normal? What might I expect next? I just want either ovulation or AF asap!

Hi, I am sorry for your loss and I hope you are okay.
With my medical management I literally stopped bleeding as soon as the sac passed. My blood loss was very little and became very scanty. I think every womans body handles miscarriages very differently to another woman and what may be normal to me, may be abnormal to another.

The bleeding you have may be residual bleeding from bits left over. I think as long as you don't have any pain or foul smelling discharge then it is just the way your body is handling the miscarriage. It can take up to 3-4 weeks for hcg levels to go back down. With my last miscarriage in January I was still getting a faint positive when I started my period, so your body can do some strange things sometimes.

I know you posted this last week, so I hope the bleeding has calmed down and that you are feeling well again.

Thank you. Yes stopped hopefully finally now, and negative test last week, so now need to get back on cycle asap!
