I wonder if you lovely ladies could help me please
I posted this message 12 month ago
was concerned about not going through the menopause aged 55 my dr ran some blood test FSH which came back as not menopausal. My womb lining was 13.5 mm I was sent for a second scan and this reduced to 4.5 mm
This month my period came on day 25 normal bleeding then after 10 days I am still spotting (bright red blood when I wipe)
I suffer with health anxiety so I am imaging all sorts and cannot keep away from google. Has anyone suffered anything similar. Thank you x

I am since in exactly the same position 12 months later. I have been bleeding for 10 days then lighly spotting (only when I wipe) for 2/3 days. This is making me worried ever more. My Dr seems very dismissive telling me it is the peri-menopause and not to be concerned. Have any of you ladies been through similar.
Please be gentle with me as I suffer crippling health anxiety x

I answered this on your other thread I think.

What is your question?

Is it that you are now 56 and still having what appear to be periods?

I answered that before. It's not abnormal but rare.

Go back to your GP and ask for a referral to a gynae.
