Ive posted 2 comments to advise a duvet and how I was told I was through menopause or as my doc put in your done.. im on ESTEELE SOLO 1MG.
I don't know any of the jargon in relation to the menopause, So confused on all of it. First ive no clue when it started as had hysterectomy at 24yrs so cannot use menstrual cycle as a guide. GP useless. I had to beg for HRT, having arthritis im aware of damage from osteopsoraris. but she was going on about damage to my heart from the HRT, I checked the leaflet in packet and it actually states heart problem side effects does not apply to women with hysterectomies. Any guidance through all the products and health concerns I need to watch out for the better please
Thank you
carol

If you are using estrogen only HRT then the risks are small. There is very little risk of heart disease with HRT and many studies show it may help prevent heart disease. If your dr thinks this is a risk they should prescribe patches or oestrogen gel which are known to carry no risk for blood clots.

If you want to learn more about meno, HRT etc, look at the website Menopause Matters.
