I have been having nasty night sweats for ages. Gp says not menopause - im too young (42), although hasn't done any tests?

In desperation Im going to try sage leaf. What's the difference between the tablets on ebay for c. £7 and the ones in Holland & B for £20?

No Idea :) other than one sort might not be the real deal. or H&B has a higher mark up.

TBH if you are treating yourself as if you are menopausal, then you should go back to your dr and insist on tests.

Your dr sounds dismissive- there are plenty of women who have premature ovarian failure/ early meno- google the Daisy Network for info.

The sage league is recomended for sweats not brought about by menopause too, that's why i decided to try it

But it's not normal to sweat at night - is it?- unless you have something wrong, like an virus or are recovering from a severe viral infection (I had sweats at night in my late 20s after having had glandular fever.)

It's entirely up to you but in your shoes I'd be wanting tests because if you are having an early meno- classed as before age 45- then you need support and ideally HRT to prevent osteoporosis.
