An Evening at Wareham Quay anyone?

Farmer Palmer's seems to be hard to get us all together, and I'm desperate to meet Fizzcat as she sounds great, so I'm going to be bold and suggest meeting at Wareham Quay one night, as we can probably find Fizzcat easier than she can find us. Anyone want to come?

ooo that sounds nice, is the Granary still there?

Hi SuzyWong, yes it is still there. I doubt whether Wareham has changed for years.

I missed the last two evening meetups for various reasons but am friends with kittypickle and met everyone at the bournemouth night out meet up (where i consumed vast amounts of wine and remember very little

Now for the date then. Any preferences for a night? I can't do Tuesdays, other than that pretty much any night. What about Thursday 7th or 14th?

Either is fine by me although I'll have to check that Dp isn't away on business - then again he often has to go away on business at the last minute(hence my previous absences from meet ups) so fingers crossed for me either way

Hello

I have finally found this thread, I am such a nit, a techno flump.

Obviously I am coming , as I can easily find Wareham Quay from my house, even with my limited navigational skills

The 14th Looks good, I was on for the 7th but the DS has just told me, read begged me, to let him go and see star wars, and seeing as its his first cinema trip since the DS was born I cant refuse.

PS can anyone tell me can you breastfeed if you are preggers??? Is it reccomended

Catch you soon

Fizzcat

tomasinatank · 05/07/2005 10:41

You can breastfeed while pregnant Fizzcat and many women continue to tandem feed after giving birth again

Report
Surfermum · 05/07/2005 18:51

Is that a question for a friend Fizzcat? Or are congratulations in order? I was looking forward to sharing a glass of wine or 6 with you!

Surfermum,
I was all on for that wine sharing but looks like the fertile fate fairy has got it in for me. I was only just upping the amount to my near normal levels, ie downing a bottle or two an evening, as the breast feeding fell off, and what happens, back to square one. (Square being the operative word!!!!)

VV early days, couple of weeks I guess, I reckons itsa the wareham water, almost every mum
I meet is either preggers or has just has a baby, scary.

It means if everything goes according to plan DS will be 23 months when no 2 appears, great, just in time for the terrible twos.

Still on for a meet up though, I will just watch enviously as you slug away. Hopefully on the night we meet it will be sunny and I can sit outside and make do with ice cream. So long as I avoid the smokers I am fine.

Delighted though I am to be preggers, I have only just managed to get my backside into a NEW pair of size 12 jeans, and they are already feeling tight again, arghhhhhhhh. Waste of money or what.

I cant remember the last time I got totally blitzed, wont be for ruddy ages again, what with this and breastfeeding again, great.

Okay, I am off to dig out all my maternity rags, even my scaggy maternity knickers that my DS uses as a comfort blanket(dont ask)

catch you soon

an enforced & reluctant tee total fizzcat

Oh congratulations Fizzcat! What lovely news. There's now 2 of my ante-natal group who have had a second baby, and they're both finding the second one a doddle. Can't believe how together they both look. They reckon it's because they had boys first, then a girl.

So shall we go for the 14th then?

Look forward to meeting you Starry! And anyone else who joins us.

Hi Surfermum

Hmm, together eh, cant say thats me at all, disorganised chaos more like, destined to only get worse with BB2.

I am at that ruddy knackered all the time stage, could barely walk to baby group yesterday, feeling a tad more energised today. Went to tumble tots today and my delightful DS decided to monopolise the trampoline and get nasty with anyone who dared to have a go.

Just where does this nasty streak come from, I am so chilled out I am deep frozen.

The 14th is wicked, shall we say about 7ish, so that I can get the brute to bed.

I am so horror struck by what happened yesterday in London, its hard to just get on with life isnt it, total swines.

Okay, see you (and anyone else) on the 14th. I will be the slightly hippy looking 35 yrd old with brown shoulder length messy hair, and a bit too much make up to hide my haggard features.

Catch you soon

Fizzcat

That's a shame Stary and Delgirl, we must get Farmer Palmers or maybe a beach meet up organised for the daytime then. Good job Fizzcat is coming or I'd be a bit of a Billy sat on the Quay on my own!
