Night out in Stourbridge ....

Me and kormachameleon were thinking it would be good to arrange a local night out. I thought Stourbridge might be an idea because we could have a meal somewhere (perhaps Pizza Express, Luciano's or The Crab Mill or The Retreat in Oldswinford? And then for those that wanted to we could go out after for some drinking and dancing.

If anyone has any other suggestions please post them here

I'd love to come. Just that name "The Crab Mill" or "Oldswinford". I would nearly fly over from DUblin to see those places! and MNers too of course.

Have a nice evening.

With you .... never! Anyway a combination of drinking and dancing never results in boredom!

Thanks for the invite but I won't be able to make anything soon. I'm trying to save at the moment because we're in the process of buying a new house which needs total renovation and will use up all our savings!

Have a lovely time.

Me too Margot - grew up in Stourbridge and went to school in Oldswinford but sadly am quite a long way away now [blast from the past emoticon]

Depending when it is I may be able to come. TBD is on secondment so we only have him every other weekend if we don't go to London with him. So if he's around and we stay at home going out will be easy and Fifi is sleeping almost all the way through the night [smug] so she won't miss me!

Oldswinford, Redhill, King Edwards - but I see I am a LOT older than you so don't think we overlapped!

Have a great time on your night out

I shall point mummyfantastico in this direction - if she can drive I suspect we could manage something.

whoop whoop I am so up for dancing at something other than a Brownie disco! Even if I have to stay sober to drive chairmum home

that would be one way of finding out whether DS can go all night without milk!

well if there was somewhere safe to park we could drive out, get a taxi back and then DH can take you to collect your car in the morning (or after some number of detoxifying hours)
