If it involves cake I am up for meeting. Prefer after next week as that's my scan.

i remember week 5-6th oct got mentioned loads on main thread. that's ok for me...what are other suggestions? and i take it we will just go for the greatest number if its between more than one date?

I was trying to paste in a spreadsheet but it didn't work

Funnily enough, I'm not as able to do the weekend 6/7 Oct that well but I can see if I can find a babysittter if it is the most popular. The weekends either side are much better but I guess we'll see what happens.

Sorry for the scrawl, urgent school uniform ironing as exH in his wisdom has DD from Sat am for 48 hrs and takes her to school on Monday. Instead of Fri pm to Sun pm which would be much more convenient. Grrrrr. I guess his Friday evenings getting pissed are sacrosanct. I don't know why, he gets pissed most other evenings. Sorry, rant over.

Weekend before (29th/30th) would also suit me, as I should be in London then.

Unfortunately I can't be flexible (circumstances, not personality, I swear ;)) but just casting a vote in case there are others.

skidoodle, I would prefer that weekend too as I have DD weekend of 5/6. Maybe we should just have a vote or something if we can get everyone together. How about if I post on the other thread if everyone can put their 1st and 2nd choices on this thread by Saturday or something and then we'll tot them up.

My husband comes back after having been away for 2 weeks on the 28th so I can't see myself making that weekend. Any weekend in October suits me.

How about 13/14 Oct? Does that suit anyone at all?

Just out of interest how old is everyone? I'm a pretty young Mum to be and whilst it wouldn't bother me I wouldn't want anyone to be uncomfortable etc

I have been working for four years and most of my friends are much older than me! So I'm used to hanging around with oldies

My point being, I'd really like to come as I don't have many friends who have kids, I do have one RL friend who is pregnant and due at the same time as me but keen to meet more people

Lauren - I'm 31 but in my head I don't think I've ever moved on from being 19 :-)
I would definitely like to meet up but Oct is a bit funny - DH about to finish one job and start a new one and we're trying to go away in between but he doesn't have dates yet so not sure when I'm here and when I'm not. So I think best if you organise it and then I see if I can make the dates nearer the time. FWIW weekends are ideal for me, and I could do weekday evenings centrally (work near Heathrow but could be in town for about 6.30)

I'm 28- and I think we need someone to set a date and place and see who can make it! I can do anywhere central.
