Low-carb diets

Would some homemade stoneground bread be ok? Please....?

I read Michael Moseley's book last week and have joined my dh in solidarity as he is doing the low carb diet. I did the 5:2 a couple of years ago and found that I got really lightheaded and 'otherworldly' on my fast days. I really feel like this again and I'm not sure that low carb suits me, it seems to affect my brain too much somehow. I don't want to tip into a low mood, but I feel as if it might be entirely possible. I was planning on making some soup for lunch with some cheese and maybe a boiled egg. Would a stoneground flour bread roll be ok with it? Surely as its low GI, I could sneak it in?

I made a really stupid mistake yesterday and I'm sure it's because I'm calorie starved. I need something workable that won't make me flake out completely. Thanks.

A wholemeal roll won't be low carb. However, if you're not getting on with low carb then don't do it!

I have eaten low carb since Christmas and have lost two stone so far. What kept me going is finding a low-carb bread recipe. I now make a loaf of low carb bread every week and use it instead of real bread. There are loads of different recipes online. It takes some getting used to, but now I don't miss real bread at all.
