Hello all,
I'm planning starting a Paleo inspired lower carb diet. I'm drawing inspiration from some Paleo books and from the website Mark's Daily Apple. I'm doing a slow start because it takes me ages to get things into gear in terms of food planning and so on.
Anyway I had a question about meat and fat. I know you are supposed to eat fat on this diet, and I'm using full fat and natural products such as butter, coconut oil etc.
My concern is the meat. I can't bear fatty meat, I find it really really unpalatable. If I make a beef stew or cook bacon I will cut off all visible fat because I find it a disgusting taste and texture.
I'm I denying myself essential fats if I do this?
