I have around a stone to loose. I have done Atkins diet in the past and it worked very well and very quickly ... so now, years later, I’m back.

Today I have had:

Breakfast: natural yogurt (yeo valley) with blackberries and chia seeds.

Lunch: 2 egg omelette with spring onion, mushrooms and cheese

Dinner: 2 chicken thighs with broccoli, sprouts and cauliflower mash.

Does this sound ok for day 1?

I’ve been watching recipes on YouTube and have seen a macaroni cheese one I just have to make!

Perfect timing. A new bootcamp is just about to start. Add your name. I'm off to read the prep thread.

You have food there that wouldn't pass BC rules.
The yogurt is 5.6g carb per 100. As a rule of thumb, you need to be below 5g per 100.
BC doesn't allow berries or seeds.
Spring onion are in the amber veg category. Onion is higher still. Spinach, broccoli or basil are options - or just use the green part of the spring onion.
Sprouts are also an 'amber' light veg - there are lower carb options.
There are lists of 'allowed' foods and the carb contents of veg.

It looks to me like a very low calorie day - but not really low carb.
