Low-carb bootcamp

I've gone all wobbly!

I've got a total of 90 pounds to lose, and I'm currently 19 pounds down. This is great, but I'm feeling really 'loose' IYSWIM, like I'm still big but no longer firm. I jiggle when I walk fast, and I now have bingo wings! Sad

I've been losing around 1 pound per week, except for the last two when I've lost 3 then 2, since I've been off the booze. Is this going to get better do you think, or am I destined for loads of loose skin?

I think it will improve. I clostridium 2.5 stone and started of being quite jiggly and most of me has tightened up. I still have bingo wings and a fair bit left to lose so l know I will be left with loose skin. Well done on loosing 19lbs Smile

Can I ask what you have for lunch, if you're at work?

I don't know where the clostridium came from it should obviously say lost although a bout of clostridium would certainly leave you thinner!

I'm rejoining the next bootcamp thread on the 14th October so hope to jiggle again for a bit.

When my sister lost weight (only about a stone as she didn't have much to lose) her face looked quite "lined" for a while. It's smoothed out again now.

I normally have a salad with mayo for lunch. Tuna mayo, chicken thigh or breast with skin, cold ham rolled with cream cheese in the centre or left overs from the night before. Do you have a fridge at work? If not just pack it with a cool pack.

I sometimes make cauliflower soup for lunch. Sauté shallots and cauliflower in butter, add stock and simmer until soft, blend and stir through a drop of cream. This would reheat at work or keep hot in a flask.
