Low-carb bootcamp

Yoghurt question

So, I have started a LCHF diet and so far it is going well except for the yoghurt issue. It gives me the rage Angry that it is so incredibly hard to find full fat yoghurt in individual portions for breakfast!

That point aside, I am using double cream to up the fat content by way of compromise but I am a little unsure how many tablespoons I need to add. At the moment I am having Fage Total 0% (170g pot) with 2 tablespoons of double cream stirred in which gives me a total of 14.3g of fat and 7.3g of carb. Is this ok?
TIA

Better to take a full-fat Greek Yogurt. They tend to be lower in carbs, too.

What's wrong with buying a large pot and taking a few tablespoons out into a bowl? That's what I do. I like to have it with a tablespoon or two of chopped, roast hazelnuts, a tablespoon of cocoa powder and a pinch of seasalt. Sometimes I add a tablespoon of soured cream/crème fraîche, too.

Why do you need individual portions?

Thanks for your replies. I like the look of the Waitrose yoghurt so that may be an option. I have a big pot of full fat Total at home it's for work that I prefer individual portions really for convenience sake. I suppose I could just get a big tub of full fat but that also seems hard to find in the shops around my office hence why I was wondering if the double cream addition makes it ok.

This is week 2 for me so no nuts, etc. but I am really looking forward to being able to add these next week.

It's really important to find other ways [rather than food] to treat yourself when changing food habits - maybe look for a really nice container to put your portion of work yogurt in?
