Low Carb for A Fat Dummie...

Evening all,

I've been 'on' weight watchers for 5 months and have lost 3lbs.... yeah.

I put 'on' in sarcastic speech marks because I've fallen off the wagon so often it would be funny if I didn't weigh 18st at 5ft 5 Shock

I struggle with overwhelming cravings and I've heard ketosis can help with this?

I've been reading up about low carb for a while, and I've decided to start on Monday 13th.

This is my plan, can someone critique please?

Track intakes using MFP until I get used to it.

Attempt to get into ketosis for the first 4 weeks by keeping carbs below 25g per day (yikes!) and consuming 70% of calories through fats.

Use a natural green supplement (the protien works diet super greens) to ensure I'm getting my 5 a day.

Use a protien rich Meal Replacement (the protien works) (2g sugar, 19g protien, 3G carb 2g fat) made with unsweetened almond milk for work days (struggle to get food in me when I'm busy and the food I am able to grab is carb heavy!). I'll also mix coconut oil or meridian peanut butter into this when I need to boost my calories.

Evening meals will be a portion of meat and then some moderate carb veggies: spinach, Brussels sprouts, broccoli. Veggies will be quite heavily buttered.

I'll be drinking 2.2 litres of water per day (I do this now)

I work out 3 times a week, so on work out days I'll go up to 50g carb.

I'll have between 1000 and 1200 cals a day all in all.

Does that sound ok for low carb? Am I missing anything?
