Any thoughts on the best way of getting more fibre into my diet?

I put ground flax seed on my cereal, eat a lot of veg and also make myself smoothies (usually carrot, apple & flax seed again). I also eat whole grain bread and pasta and things like lentils, beans & chickpeas

I've been digging round on bodybuilding forums for this exact reason as they're all really keen on keeping the carbs low as possible. Their general consensus is psyllium husks stirred into water, apparently that works a treat, I'm going to get some myself.

I take 2 psyllium husk (tablets) each morning which help and lots and lots of dark green salads eg spinach / rocket / watercress etc
