Just need to vent,

Fed up of ex's hold over me in regards to having the children and messing me around.

I had a couple of training days at work and ex said a while ago he would have the kids due to it being the holidays. The week before he kept asking about timings etc, after the first day when he dropped he states he can't do the second day, we back and forthed and he agreed to ask his mum however I will need to drop them to her now before work 30 mins drive away. He knows I will have a stressful morning juggling however says his car has been written off and can't help with any drop offs.
This evening he turns up in the car... to get DD for gym all fine.

I am just fed up of running round at his expense, he drops hours off his weekends and moans that I can't have the kids on his weekends - he doesn't understand I have 1/2 nights free a week as opposed to his 5/6 to get everything done.

It is frustrating. My ex was the same. I took away his control. I'm fortunate I have a wonderful child minder and family for back up. So don't ask him for any 'cover' day to day. And have started saying no when he asks to drop back early etc. I drop the kids and make it clear I'm not home before x time. It took a while to sink in but now he doesn't bother asking.

Imo find yourself a trustworthy babysitter

Once an ex realises it's him having the dc to benefit you he will become a flakey twat..

Yep get a babysitter, use childcare and stop any flexibility to his contact time.

My friend's exh was supposed to have their dc alternative week ends. Whenever he got wind friend had plans he would have to change his week end.. More control tactics. Reclaim your own life op. Owe him nothing..
