What do I do?

For the best part of a year my lb dad didn’t bother, he would promise to see him and then would make excuses or not show up.
2 months ago we sat down and agreed on access with him having our lb every other Saturday night and every other Wednesday night.

2 hours before he was due to pick our son up on Saturday I got a text saying he was choosing to spend time with his other children and not having our son. Demanding to pick our son up late on Sunday morning. I had already made plans so said no. In the end his parents came and picked him up before I went out.

So yesterday comes and I get a text saying he will be late. I had my other sons parents evening so told him he would have to wait for me to come home. He replied that he had to start work early this morning so could only have him if I drove 40 mins to his house to pick him up at 6.30, which with having to get 2 other children to school I said no. So he didn’t reply or turn up. I have since messaged him asking to sort this out which have also been ignored.
Given the past year do I just tell him to stick it? I understand that he wanted time with the other 2 on his own but thought it wrong only giving 2 hours notice. But it just seems like he is making excuses again. I feel so sad for my son being dropped like this again. And feel a total fool for letting him back in.

Tbh he isn’t interested . I would just ensure you are getting the maintenance and not make contact . Let him do the chasing.

Letting your Ds down is not acceptable but you need to document every time he cancels and the reason why

My Ds hasn’t seen his dad since he was3 . Now 11.

Is it sad he doesn’t have a father figure yes . Is it better he doesn’t see him than is constantly let down . Yes in my opinion
