I am about to approach my ex about the parental contribution.
Grants and loans all applied for successfully on the basis of my income and circumstances. There is a balance to pay. I think it would be fair if we both contributed, but ex has never asked me about any of this. Not sure he's expecting to contribute anything.
There are 3 children, 2 still in school. Eldest has had a gap year and is off to uni in September. Ex stopped paying child support for this child when he left school last year (CSA automatically made the adjustment).
So what would be a reasonable suggestion? What do others do?
