My teenage son has a MacBook and to an outsider he looks like he’s working but in reality he switches his screen to more interesting content. I’ve used Apple‘s screentime facility to introduce downtime. And I’ve blocked gaming apps - but I know he’s not doing his schoolwork. I think perhaps he’s watching YouTube videos or gaming through safari? But I can’t get info on what he’s doing as that doesn’t seem to be possible with apple’s screentime facility.
No suggestions that involve parenting skills or motivating him to be good - it won’t work. I also don’t have time to sit over him as he works.
Any advice appreciated.
