The re-use groups are going from strength to strength during the recession. Family surplus items can be offered for free on the list and in turn if you need something you can post a Wanted message. All items must be Free, legal and keep something from landfill; all messages and id's must be 'family friendly'.

You may not have heard of Freegle - many UK groups broke away from the US parent Freecycle during September 2009 and renamed their groups. Locally, St Albans, High Wycombe and Chiltern have become Freegle groups but you can find any other local Freegle from www.ilovefreegle.org or a reuse group with any affiliation from recyclinggroupfinder.com
using a local group keeps the carbon footprint down - and as council's have to pay to use landfill it also helps keep our tax low!
