thinking to move to North watford wd24

Hi, I am looking to move to North Watford wd24 via a mutual exchange from London and am hoping there may be some advise you could give me. I took a lovely walk around the area yesterday which seemed really nice and quiet. then I spoke to a lady in a little play area and she warned me not to move, she said kids are carrying knives by the age of 10 and becoming drug dealers at 14... this has really upset me as everything seems lovely there. I am hoping there may be some people here to give me some positives on the area. we might be moving close to Cherry Tree Primary school so any advise on the area would be great. also my son will be in secondary school next year are there places to avoid? I wanted to move out of London to be in a nicer location. please help! thank you!
