Hi all, we are relocating to Bristol this summer from Sydney and my hubby will be working at the Uni. We haven’t found anywhere to live yet so can’t apply for schools. Everything I’ve read about schools in Bristol is that they are oversubscribed. I contacted Bristol LEA who suggested I consider faith schools or academies. Does anyone have experience of moving to Bristol either in year or at the start of the school terms and what happened with schools? I have a DS who is 4 & DS who is 7, so will need a reception and year 3 place. I am assuming with covid there will be little movement with people leaving. I’m reluctant to have 2 kids in different schools so am interested to hear if that is likely. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
