Moving to Woking with 4 years old mid-term!

Hello!!
We are planning to move from St. Albans to Woking in the next couple of months but my DD is starting Reception this September 2020. So we will have to move primary School mid-term and have no idea how that works!!?? Help!!
We would be able to buy a house only at the beginning of the next year which means we would miss the school application deadline (Jan 21). Or we could rent (short term) before buying a house and make sure DD gets in a good school before buying a house. Any of you have been in the same situation? What to do!!?? THANK YOU 🙏🏼
