Feel like im a failure

So im a single mother to a 7 year old little girl, have always been a single since the day i got pregnant an her father walked out on me, that was hard for a few months but i done it an done it all on my own.

When my daughter was a baby right untill last year when she hit 6 years old she was fanatisc, she behaved really well, polite&well mannerd an very rarely misbehaved. Now shes hit 7 years old she has turnt really disrespectful towards to me an i dont know why.. she respects everyone else alot.

Ive asked her why has she turnt so disrespectuful towards me an all i get in return is because she dont like me an my rules. An she doesnt want to live with me anymore.

I dont have hardly any rules apart from she has to attend school unless she sick,(she hates school an refuses to go). An that she has tv for 1 hour at bed time(8.00pm till 9.00pm) an then sleep.

I feel like a failure how can she go from a well mannerd behaved child to a disrespectful misbehaved child!! What am i actually doing so wrong😢😢😢

Do you think the two could possibly be related?

I dont think your the one that should feel a failure..leave that to the absent father. All children play up at different stages..try not to take it personal. Does your dd mention her father?

She's growing up discovering you are not the be all and end all of her life. She's testing you. All kids need boundaries and you need to impose some. If shes rude to you then no tv etc. But be firm! You can't give in if she whines. But keep telling her you love her, praise good behaviour and listen listen listen.
